Registered Midwife

Midwives early in their career or returning to practice receive a structured and supportive development program led by experienced Midwifery educators.

• Facility: Hospital‑Based Maternity and Newborn Care Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate maternity care with guidance from senior clinicians as needed
• Communicate effectively with families and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient education and offer clinical guidance as appropriate
• Support, supervise, and orientate staff and students
• Contribute to achieving organisational and clinical service objectives
• Uphold high standards of safety, quality, and patient‑centred care

Key Skills / Qualifications Required

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife (or Registered Nurse/Midwife)
• Commitment to quality maternity care and patient satisfaction
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing learning, development, and reflective practice

Salary & Bonus Benefits

• $82,945 – $106,630 per annum + 12% superannuation
